Back in October of last year, we felt that we were to begin opening up our doors at our facility again and host a monthly meeting called, “The Waiting Room”. Our vision has been to create an atmosphere where people can break away from all the stress of their busy lives and come and enjoy an evening of Worship, Waiting, Soaking, and also receive prayer for their needs. Over the last 9 months, we have had many people visit from the surrounding area who have come and received refreshment and encouragement. Recently, we felt that we were to enlarge our vision, and we have now begun to host The Waiting Room gatherings every other week.
As the summer months are upon us and people’s schedules are busy with vacations, etc., some people can only attend once a month, while others are coming every time we open the doors. We are seeing God do some very powerful and supernatural things in these meetings as the hunger continues to grow for God to pour out His Spirit on us. In the coming months, we are praying for God to send and assemble a team of people who will come along side of us to help support and facilitate this vision. We would ask for your prayers to cover us as well.
IMPORTANT "WAITING ROOM" NEEDS!!!
At our recent Waiting Room meeting on July 17th, we experienced some technical difficulties, and our (only) big flat screen TV decided to die in the middle of the worship time. This TV was actually donated last year when we first began, and it’s already been repaired once. It’s also a lot smaller than we need for the room size we have. We are now believing God to provide a brand new 60” or larger TV for our Waiting Room meetings. This new TV will be used to show worship videos, but mainly to project the Power Point words for our worship times. Another important need for our ministry is to buy a computer for the sound booth, as we have been using our own small personal laptop computer. Our vision is to raise at least $1200.00 before the next Waiting Room gathering on July 31, and purchase a new TV, and a used Apple iMac computer.
